THE BRIDE

Hi, I’m Esther!

I serve as a Pastor at Cooroy SDA Church and Noosa Adventist College, though those places aren’t exactly where my story began. I mostly grew up in the Northern Rivers with my mum, and I’d often visit my dad across Queensland, New South Wales, or South Australia.

I’m one of six siblings: Felicity, Claire, Trevor, Eliza and Zac. I love them dearly and count myself fortunate to have such a big family to both give and receive love from. Life has brought many seasons of growth, and through them I’ve learned to value kindness, to prioritise genuine connection, and to live with intention — letting God lead the way in all things.

We’ve known each other for a long time, and I feel incredibly blessed to have met my husband-to-be. I’m excited for the next chapter and can’t wait to see where God will lead us — together, with a little faith and a lot of heart.

THE GROOM

Hi, I’m Mal!

I’m a proud Samoan hailing from the villages of Sataoa & Puapua just to name a few. I work as a chaplain at Prescott College in South Australia where I get to spend time with the students & teachers and share about my faith on the daily. I’m a proud New South Welshman, born and bred, and a dedicated supporter of the Parramatta Eels, Sydney Swans and the mighty NSW Blues. (and ofc all the Samoan team, o ai le Toa!)

I’m the oldest of four (Esekia, Letty and Maua) and hence have always been watching out for my siblings alongside my parents, Letioa and Malaga. My parents have been my rock in life always supporting me and guiding me to become the man I am today. Even though mum is no longer with us today, her memory lives on through me, my dad and my siblings.

I’m absolutely blessed to have found someone who both makes me laugh and smile but helps me to stay connected with God which are big ticks for me. Keen as a bean (as Es would say) to spend the rest of my life with her by my side.
